Ceradis B.V. develops and markets innovative environmentally friendly solutions for plant nutrition and crop protection. The company Ceradis was founded in the Netherlands as a spin-off of Wageningen University and still has a close relationship with their research departments. Ceradis products have patented formulations which guarantee optimal activity of the ingredients and excellent handling characteristics for the end-users. Ceradis has 4 current technology platforms and is working on strengthening these and adding to them. Each platform is covered by one or multiple patents.
SUMMARY
You’ll work in a R&D environment where we have our own chemical and phytopathology labs. The project focusses on a new plant protection platform and is highly research driven. There will be a strong focus on the addition of substances, like polymers, and the interaction of these with plant surfaces. The work will be a mix of material chemistry, physical chemistry, formulation chemistry and analytical chemistry.
We will offer good supervision and trainings for developing research and laboratory skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Current enrollment in MSc studies in the field of material science, physical chemistry or related background.
- Good written and verbal skills in English.
PRACTICALITIES
- Starting date in mutual agreement
- Internship period preferably 6 months
- Based in Wageningen, the Netherlands
