Ceradis B.V. develops and markets innovative environmental friendly solutions for plant nutrition and crop protection. The company Ceradis was founded in the Netherlands as a spin-off of Wageningen University and still has a close relationship with their research departments. Ceradis products have a patented formulation that guarantees optimal activity of the ingredients and excellent handling characteristics for the end-users. Ceradis has 4 current technology platforms and is working on strengthening these and adding to them. Each platform is covered by one or multiple patents.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Supply Chain team is responsible for ensuring an optimal supply chain, in terms of costs, service levels, inventory levels and operational efficacy. Supply Chain liaises with other departments within Ceradis to realize these aims, such as with Sales, Development and Finance. And of course it maintains close relations with external parties such as raw material providers, toll manufacturers and logistics companies.

Your work within the Supply Chain team consists of:

• Carry out Supply Chain day-to-day activities and improvement projects
  • Effectively organizing the supply chain
  • Arrange for production to match sales orders
  • Manage the planning, stock keeping and purchase process
  • Maintain quality standards, tracking and reporting
• Assist in or directly drive Supply Chain improvement projects, such as:
  • Adding new toll manufacturers
  • Creating large scale production protocols and pilot trials
  • Cost reduction and/or service improvement
  • Quality level improvement and quality monitoring
• Participate in other projects such as
  • New product development
  • Product registration

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Applied university (Dutch: HBO) or professional-vocational (Dutch: MBO) education in related areas
• 3-5 Years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of agrochemical, chemical or agricultural industry is a bonus
• Pragmatic, analytical, flexible and entrepreneurial
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; skill in other language(s) such as French, German, Italian, Spanish and/or Mandarin is a bonus

• Based in Wageningen, the Netherlands.
