Ceradis’ head office is based in Wageningen, the Netherlands. Ceradis was founded by Wim van der Krieken as a spin-off of Wageningen University & Research (WUR), to commercialize several WUR inventions in the area of crop protection. WUR is widely recognized as the world’s leading agricultural university. Ceradis retains a strong cooperation with WUR and WUR is still a shareholder of Ceradis today.
Ceradis Wageningen houses its own chemistry and phytopathology labs, in combination with using nearby facilities of the WUR.
Ceradis has its own year-round field testing facilities in Colombia (Ceradis Colombia Ltda). Ceradis local presence in Colombia also supports sales in Colombia and the region. Colombia has a highly developed agriculture and floriculture and is also one of the top banana producers in the world. Due to the climate and geography of the country year-round testing is both possible for tropical and temperate crops. Ceradis Colombia was created to ensure an intense feedback between the formulation work in the Netherlands and the field testing in Colombia and to guarantee that Ceradis products meet all practical use and quality specifications.
